William Bill Mixon, Owner, RPh, MS, FIACPÂ

Bill Mixon is the pharmacist and owner of The Compounding Pharmacy, a nationally accredited pharmacy. He and his wife Jan opened The Compounding Pharmacy in 1998. Bill obtained his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from The Medical University of South Carolina in 1977, and in 1983 he received his Master of Science degree in pharmacy practice from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He is one of 68 pharmacists who have achieved Fellowship status with the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists.
He has completed two hospital pharmacy residencies, has been a Certified Diabetes Educator and a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist.
He and his wife Jan have two daughters at Appalachian State University in Boone.
