The Compounding Pharmacy is one of a few compounding-only pharmacies in the state. We have been in operation since November 1998. In November of 2006, we remodeled the pharmacy adding a new state-of-the-art clean room and a new hood room. In 2009 we have completed an extensive addition to our building providing medical care, consulting and examination rooms. Much of our water heating needs is being provided by a new solar panel heating system. Our 'Clean rooms' are state of the art and represent our continuing commitment to our patients, our medical prescribers and to our community overall.
The Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB®) has conferred fully accredited status on The Compounding Pharmacy.
Jan and Bill Mixon, Owners of The Compounding Pharmacy, Hickory, NC We are the second pharmacy in North Carolina to achieve this very rigorous standard of practice.
We are the proud recipients of the Catawba County Chamber of Commerce 2008 Faith in the Future Award! This award is premised on the concept that businesses which make significant investments in their facilities, product lines, service offerings, employees and/or the market place should be recognized for these business commitments and their impact on Catawba County's economy.
